Michael D. Fox, Counsel at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky in Pittsburgh, focuses on business law and alternative dispute resolution. His experience includes venture financing and private securities offerings; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; business development; business workouts; technology development, licensing and commercialization; product and service distribution; franchising; international law; computer law; corporate law; and exit strategy planning.
His clients include middle market and early stage companies in the technology, manufacturing, service and investment industries. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on legal and business topics.
Mr. Fox for many years has been AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the definitive guide to the most distinguished lawyers and law firms in America. He also is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators.
Before joining Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky in 2008 as part of the firm’s combination with Gefsky and Lehman, Mr. Fox was a shareholder in the litigation and business law practice groups of a large Pittsburgh-based law firm and a member of the general counsel’s staff at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He also held marketing positions with the Westinghouse Technology Products Group.
Mr. Fox and his wife, Gerry, live in Pittsburgh and have a son, Tad, and a daughter, Amanda.
