Trevor N. Handlovitch
Trevor Handlovitch is a Senior Associate at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, with a practice centered on real estate, business, and intellectual property law.
Trevor handles primarily commercial real estate matters, including negotiating and drafting real estate purchase and sale agreements, advising on the sale and purchase of mixed-use developments, real estate financing, residential and commercial leasing matters, and real estate option agreements. He also represents landlords and property management companies in residential and commercial real estate transactions and advises on ongoing operational issues. Trevor also represents both homeowners and associations in accordance with association governing documents, governance matters, and the Pennsylvania Uniform Planned Community Act and Pennsylvania Uniform Condominium Act.
Trevor’s business law practice encompasses all areas of business and corporate law, from entity choice and formation to business administration matters such as financing, compliance, business restructuring, merger, acquisition, and sale. Trevor also counsels his clients on various issues throughout a company’s cycle, including drafting and negotiating limited liability company agreements, partnership agreements, and other organizational documents, and advising on contractual matters. For many of his clients, Trevor handles their legal issues in both real estate and business, providing comprehensive legal advice that appreciates the practical and legal considerations of both.
Trevor’s intellectual property practice involves all aspects of obtaining, administering, and enforcing intellectual property rights, including the prosecution of trademarks and copyrights, intellectual property management, and trademark oppositions. Trevor also has extensive experience with drafting and negotiating of intellectual property-related agreements, including matters of coexistence, licensing, purchase, and sale.
Outside the office, Trevor can usually be found playing, coaching, or watching ice hockey. As a Division 1 ice hockey player throughout his college career, he still eats, sleeps, and breathes hockey, but does take a break occasionally to go boating, skiing, or catch a movie.
