Devin Hallett Snyder is a Director at Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick & Gefsky, where she focuses her practice on trusts and estates and adoptions in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
Devin’s approach to estate planning is to provide understandable information to clients and guide them through making the right decisions for themselves and their families. These customized plans may include wills, powers of attorney, and various types of trusts. Devin also walks clients through the probate process after a loved one has passed with compassion and understanding and is uniquely qualified to assist with disputes that may arise thanks to her extensive mediation and collaborative law experience.
She also provides sensitive, practical guidance in guardianship and adoption proceedings, working diligently to help individuals and families navigate significant life transitions. With her decades of family law experience, Devin assists clients, particularly business owners, with prenuptial agreements to protect assets and plan for a harmonious marriage. With nearly twenty years of legal experience, including over a decade managing her own law firm, Devin has handled a wide range of estate and family law matters, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how different legal issues intersect. This broad experience allows her to take a holistic approach, considering the bigger picture when guiding clients through important life decisions. Whether she’s helping with estate planning, probate, an adoption, or a prenuptial agreement, she looks at how each legal decision impacts other areas of a client’s life. Her work in mediation and collaborative law focuses on reducing conflict and finding fair, practical solutions that help clients move forward with confidence.
Beyond her legal practice, Devin is actively involved in professional and community organizations. She has held leadership roles in the Women’s Business Network, including serving as president from 2022 to 2023. She is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the International Academy of Collaborative Attorneys. Additionally, she has served as a trainer and committee chair for the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Devin enjoys giving back to her community, including serving as treasurer for Boy Scouts of America Troop 17 in Hampton.
