Jonathan T. Krassenstein is a business attorney with an extensive background in general business matters, commercial litigation, and employment issues, including executive separation agreements, oil, gas, and energy-related issues, franchise matters of all kinds, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights matters.
Formerly a judicial clerk for two federal bankruptcy judges, Jon combines his knowledge of the court system with sound practical experience gained as a certified public accountant and over thirty-five years of practicing law. During his career, Jon has represented businesses of all sizes from a variety of industries in various corporate matters, including acquisition agreements, bank lending issues, real estate matters, shareholder disputes, contract drafting and negotiation, franchise matters, and employment issues.
Jon is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals and is also admitted to practice in the State of Ohio. He has been a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising and has served on the Ohio State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Subcommittee and the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section Council. He has served on the Board of Directors of many organizations, including the Brooktree Office Park, the Borough of Bradford Woods Zoning Hearing Board, where he is currently Chairman, Temple Ohav Shalom, and the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Krassenstein is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh.
Since 2005, Jon has also served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of PFBC Environmental Energy Technology, Inc., a Western Pennsylvania renewable energy concern.

Jon received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1983 and received his Juris Doctor Degree from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1986. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987.
He is married to Juliet B. Krassenstein, resides in Bradford Woods, and is the proud father of four sons.
