Filip M. Rams is a Director at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, where he focuses his practice on corporate and tax matters for private and public companies, investors, and entrepreneurs.

He advises clients across various industries on structuring and executing complex commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and corporate governance, providing practical counsel that supports both immediate transaction goals and long-term business strategies.

Filip draws on experience working in a national law firm and a global professional services firm, where he advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, corporate and tax structuring, and governance. He has managed every stage of complex deals — from due diligence and negotiation to closing and post-transaction integration and compliance — helping businesses navigate legal and tax risks and meet their strategic goals. His background also includes evaluating tax and regulatory issues in cross-border and domestic transactions, with a focus on practical solutions that support long-term growth.

With an Executive LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, Filip offers clients integrated legal and tax guidance. He has prepared tax structuring analyses, compliance reviews, and research memoranda for sophisticated transactions and has contributed to Bloomberg Tax’s U.S. Income Portfolios, helping shape trusted resources on federal tax law.

Outside the office, Filip remains actively engaged in the legal and business community. He was recognized on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2022 and 2023. A former NCAA Division I tennis captain and ATP-ranked professional athlete, Filip now coaches tennis and remains active in local and national tennis circles.
