Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick & Gefsky Announces Attorney Promotions

Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick & Gefsky is pleased to announce Gilda Arroyo, Anthony Judice, and Michael Nicolella have been promoted to Directors of the firm. The firm has also elevated associates Lydia Gorba and Alexis Wheeler to the position of Senior Associate.

These accomplished lawyers have earned this advancement as a result of their hard work and dedication to their clients and to SMGG.

Gilda Arroyo focuses her practice on counseling non-profits, municipal authorities, and small businesses; representing HOAs, COAs and Cooperatives; and general litigation. She has represented individual and business clients in commercial, real estate, products liability, personal injury, and immigration matters. Ms. Arroyo has extensive experience defending local and multinational companies in complex litigation matters.

Anthony Judice focuses his practice on real estate and labor and employment. He represents corporate clients on matters before state and federal courts and agencies in a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, wrongful termination, breach of employment contracts, and wage and hour.

Michael Nicolella represents and advises private companies, not-for-profit organizations, and entrepreneurs in buying and selling companies, major assets, and real estate; negotiating contracts and leases; governance; protecting intellectual property; and enforcing creditors’ rights in bankruptcies and workouts.

Lydia Gorba focuses her practice primarily in civil litigation. She handles a variety of matters, including personal injury, premises liability, real estate litigation, and insurance defense. Lydia began her legal career at SMGG in the summer of 2016 as a law clerk.

Alexis Wheeler works primarily in the areas of municipal law and real estate. She has assisted in the representation of individuals in land use disputes as well as local governing bodies in matters concerning zoning, land use, Right to Know Law, and administrative law and procedure. Alexis also has experience in land development, boundary-line law, and easement/right-of-way acquisition and disputes. She also works closely with the litigation practice group and the investigation practice group. Alexis began her legal career at SMGG as a law clerk.
