Independent Investigations

Independent Investigations

At Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, we understand the urgency and complexity of independent investigations. Our team of attorney investigators manages workplace, school, municipal, and organization investigations with impartiality and skill. We conduct objective investigations of all kinds for public entities, private companies, educational institutions, and nonprofit entities, using a systematic approach, giving each case the appropriate and right-sized methodology to reach a prompt and cost-effective resolution.

Our Independent Investigations team is made up of experienced attorneys and paralegals with diverse legal backgrounds, including a former Assistant District Attorney now focused on criminal defense and crime victim representation, as well as civil attorneys with deep experience in employment, municipal, and school matters. Supported by both in-house capabilities and trusted external partnerships, the team delivers cutting-edge investigative services, including advanced technology and electronically stored information expertise. Further strengthening this practice, President and Shareholder Gretchen Moore earned a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators after completing intensive training in investigation principles, interview techniques, credibility assessments, and report writing—enhancing our ability to conduct thorough, complex investigations for public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
