SMGG Sponsors Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Spring Hat Luncheon

Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky sponsored the 26th Annual Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC) Spring Hat Luncheon at Schenley Park on May 4, 2024.

The luncheon is a celebration of community and commitment to preserving the natural treasures of Pittsburgh. Proceeds from the Spring Hat Luncheon directly ensure the ongoing care and enhancement of the city’s beloved green spaces.

Dr. Heidi Ondek, Superintendent and Executive Director at Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, spoke about the new Frick Environmental Center sensory classroom and the collaboration with the school.

SMGG’s table included SMGG President and Shareholder Gretchen E. Moore, Shareholder Kathy L. Clark, Counsel and Member of the Board of Directors for Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Jean E. Novak, Jennifer Shuckrow, the wife of Shareholder Alan Shuckrow, Dr. Heidi Ondek, Dr. Tina Chekan, Superintendent/CEO at Propel Schools & Propel Schools Foundation, Executive Director Denele Hughson at Grow Pittsburgh, and Sr. VP for Legal Affairs and General Counsel Pamela I. Wilkens at Duquesne University.
