Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky (“SMGG”) announced that Nicolas Sasso recently joined the firm as an Associate in its Pittsburgh and Greensburg Offices. Mr. Sasso’s practice will concentrate primarily on Estate Planning and Elder Law.
Mr. Sasso received a music degree from Duquesne University’s Mary Pappert School of Music and earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University College of Law and thereafter had the unique opportunity to transiently study law at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He received the Ohio Northern Pro Bono Service Recognition award in 2011 for his dedication to pro bono service with the Legal Aid of Arkansas. Then, in 2013, Mr. Sasso was named as the Volunteer Attorney of the Year for the 18th Judicial District of Arkansas for providing pro bono legal services to low-income clients. Mr. Sasso was further recognized for his pro bono service when he received the Legal Aid of Arkansas Pro Bono Service Award in 2017.
Mr. Sasso is a native of Westmoreland County.
