SMGG attorneys, staff and families walked with “Abby’s Army” on July 13th in support of the Epilepsy Foundation of Western/Central Pennsylvania’s and its 31st Annual Family Fun Run/Walk.  According to SMGG Shareholder, and founder of “Abby’s Army”, Alan Shuckrow, “We had an absolutely spectacular day for the run/walk and an incredible turn out.  We counted 116 army “troops” present, including 5 dogs! If we add in the folks/families who donated but who were not able to attend, our numbers are well over 150.”

Abby’s Army was created 15 years ago in honor of Abby Shuckrow who has intractable epilepsy.  The members of the team either walked or ran the event course along the North Shore of Pittsburgh.  The team raised over $10,000 to benefit individuals in the communities of Western and Central Pennsylvania who have epilepsy/seizure disorders.
