Christi M. Weber brings a real estate background to Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky. Her career has covered commercial real estate, corporate transactions and formations, as well as civil litigation matters.
In her commercial real estate practice, Ms. Weber advises clients on property acquisitions, development and financial transactions. She is well versed in municipal matters including land use appeals, variance/PRD requests, and local government approvals. Ms. Weber also oversees complex title review and clearance matters, as well as reviews and negotiates various types of easements, rights of way and restrictive covenants.
During her career, Ms. Weber has represented property developers in the development of planned communities and condominiums under the Pennsylvania Planned Community Act and Condominium Act, including acquisition, corporate formation, zoning and permitting approval, financing, public offering and declaration matters. From a corporate perspective, Ms. Weber has represented corporate entities in the acquisition and sale of stock or membership interests, and assisted in the formation and preparation of governing documentation. These worlds come together through Ms. Weber’s experience litigating breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation claims involving individuals, property owners, and general contractors.
Ms. Weber completed her undergraduate degree at Duquesne University and graduated magna cum laude in May 2013. She received her law degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Law in May 2016. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Weber was actively involved in the family law clinic and received the distinctive CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grades in her clinical class.
Outside of the office, Ms. Weber lives in Richland Township and enjoys cooking, reading and hiking with her German Shepherd.
