CRE Settlements is a full-service in-house real estate settlement company. CRE Settlements provides title searches, title insurance, and real estate settlement services to sellers, buyers, and lenders in commercial and residential transactions.

CRE Settlements is authorized to underwrite title insurance for:

  • Fidelity National Title Insurance Company
  • Old Republic National Title Insurance Company

Our attorneys have extensive experience closing a wide variety of transactions and providing title and closing services to lending institutions, individuals, companies, and corporations for transactions of any size or complexity. CRE Settlements’ team has the ability to call upon the expertise of SMGG’s attorneys who can assist in handling complex title and closing matters that may arise during the course of a transaction.

The services provided by CRE Settlements include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of documents required to close commercial and residential, construction, real estate development, and loan transactions
  • Escrow services
  • Coordination and collection of payoffs, lien letters, tax certificates and tax liens, utilities, and judgments
  • Coordinating and conducting closings
  • Notary services and document recording
