Rohit K. Dharwadkar

Rohit K. Dharwadkar is Counsel at Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick & Gefsky, where he represents businesses across a variety of industries, as well as individuals and families, in a wide range of immigration matters.

His extensive business immigration practice includes H-1B, L-1, TN, and E-visas; corporate compliance, labor certifications, and PERM applications; national interest waivers; extraordinary ability petitions; and EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3-based I-140 petitions. In addition, Rohit assists individuals and families with adjustment of status and green card applications, as well as family-based immigration, naturalization and U.S. citizenship, VAWA-based green cards, non-employment visas, and waivers.

An immigrant himself, he approaches each matter with an understanding that immigration law is not simply about forms and filings; it often affects where people can work, build their lives, and plan their futures. Rohit immigrated to the United States with his family in 1980 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1987. Having experienced the immigration and naturalization process himself, he understands many of the practical and personal concerns his clients face.
