Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky Supports Future Legal Leaders Through Pitt Law Scholarship Fund

Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky is proud to continue its support of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law through the firm’s Ronald D. Barber Memorial Fund, helping make legal education more accessible for deserving students.

This year, the firm’s scholarship recipient is Trevon Millings, a member of Pitt Law’s Class of 2027. Trevon is currently interning with the City of Pittsburgh’s Legal Department while balancing a full course load, working at the Duquesne Club, and volunteering as a track and field coach at Taylor Allderdice High School. After graduation, he hopes to combine his interests in law and athletics by representing collegiate athletes and working in the evolving NIL space.

Receiving the scholarship has had a meaningful impact on Trevon’s law school journey. He shared that the award has helped reduce the financial burden of pursuing his degree while reminding him that others believe in his goals and are invested in his success.

In thanking the firm for its continued support, Pitt Law Dean Jerry Dickinson recognized the lasting impact of the Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky Ronald D. Barber Memorial Fund.
