Gretchen E. Moore Appointed to the Allegheny County Government Review Commission

President & Shareholder Gretchen E. Moore has been appointed to the Allegheny County Government Review Commission (GRC). She is one of a nine-member advisory body established every ten years. Their goal is to review the County’s Home Rule Charter, evaluate how departments and agencies operate, and make recommendations to help the government run more effectively for the people it serves.

The GRC examines both the structure of county government and broader issues that impact Allegheny County residents—ensuring local government stays efficient, accountable, and in tune with the community’s needs.

Commission members are registered voters from across Allegheny County. Five are appointed by County Council and four by the County Executive, with attention given to creating a diverse mix of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
