Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky is seeking a partner-level individual to join our busy labor and employment practice. The person hired for this position, in addition to servicing their own clients, will focus on providing representation to our clients in all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, including, but not limited to, litigation and trial work, resolving governmental and workplace investigations, and developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems. Expected responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Advise and counsel clients on legal issues stemming from the relationship between employers and employees.
• Draft and review employment agreements, contracts, company policies, and employee handbooks

Technical Skills
• 10+ years of labor and employment experience. Labor relations and employment litigation experience is required.
• Experience with administrative practice before local, state and federal agencies; and/or advice and counseling is required.
• Experience in traditional labor matters, including labor arbitrations, negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges, and in transactional matters involving labor and employment issues is a plus.
• Should be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be in good standing.
