SMGG Partners with Propel Schools for Trick or Trot Fundraiser 5k

SMGG is a Propel Gold Sponsor of the Trick or Trot 5K & Fun Run on October 30th, which will take place at North Shore Riverfront Park in Pittsburgh.

Supporting Wellness and Supporting the Community

The Propel Schools Foundation supports the mission of Propel Schools: to catalyze the transformation of public education so that all children have access to high-performing public schools.

Among the 4,000 scholars being served across our 13 Allegheny County locations, 80% of students qualify for the federal free/reduced-cost lunch program, 80% are a minority and 17% have special needs. Propel has become one of the largest, fastest-expanding sets of charter schools in the state, with the highest levels of student achievement among PA public school districts serving high poverty, resource-poor areas throughout the Pittsburgh region.

Join Us for this Fun Family Event

Strut on down to the Heinz Quay Boat Launch adorned in your BEST costume and join in on our festivities in support of Propel Partners in Wellness! DJ Steve Maffei Jr. will keep the energy flowing high from the main stage area, the Allegheny County Showmobile, as participants proceed underneath the bridge for check-in or day-of registration where you can also visit our community booths for fun, games, and wellness education! Parking instructions will be e-mailed to participants.

After completing your race, hang around to enjoy the festive community atmosphere surrounding the main stage area (music, games, food trucks, awards, etc.) and help line the Halloween-themed Family Fun Run Course to cheer on our youth runners!
