Hilary Spatz is now Of Counsel, to the Pittsburgh office of the law firm of Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky. For 31 years she practiced in the boutique firm of Levine & Spatz, PC where she developed a full practice in the area of matrimonial and domestic relations law, attending to all matters impacting the family; including, complex custody relocation cases, representation of the economically dependent spouse, and negotiating premarital agreements. She also handles adoptions and the administration of small estates.
Ms. Spatz is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and its Family Law Section where she served as an elected member of the Family Law Council. She also served for many years on the Opinionsā?? Committee, which determines which judicial opinions will be published to the legal community.
Ms. Spatz began her legal career serving as law clerk to The Honorable Judge David Craig President Judge of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
In 1997 Ms. Spatz secured her certificate in Mediation and continues to use those tools in her practice.
Ms. Spatz and her husband Max A. Levine, Esquire, also practicing with Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick and Gefsky, are the proud parents of three and grandparents of two.
Community Activities: Ms. Spatz served two terms on the board of The Community Day School and currently serves as President of The National Council of Jewish Women, Pittsburgh Section, one of the largest sections in the United States with approximately 1400 members. Ms. Spatz also serves on Temple Sinaiā??s committee supporting improvements to the Jewish Association of Agingā??s residential and nursing care facilities.
