Amy Elizabeth McCall is an associate attorney with Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky concentrating in business and technology law. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for Justice Cynthia A. Baldwin on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, working on projects and decision in a broad range of legal arenas from zoning and land use, to taxation, to capital punishment. Her first three years out of law school were spent with the Pittsburgh office of a large Philadelphia law firm, specializing in emerging business and technology law.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. McCall is an adjunct professor of legal research and writing at Duquesne University School of Law.
Ms. McCall's practice specialty includes business structuring and development; patent and intellectual property licensing; stock options and executive compensation; and corporate, partnership and limited liability company legal matters. Her clients include early-stage and middle-market technology and service companies and entrepreneurs.
She received her law degree magna cum laude from Duquesne University school of Law, where she was the executive articles editor of the Law Review. She also has a B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University. Prior to law school, she did software development and maintenance for large healthcare organizations.
Ms. McCall is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association.
She lives in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh with her husband and two sons.
